Michigan cannabis sales for July fell from a year ago as they rose sequentially by 5.2%, which was up slightly on a per-day basis. At $274.7 million, sales were down 4.5% from a year earlier:
The Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Agency breaks out sales by medical and adult-use, with medical sales falling 64.3% from a year ago to $0.5 million, down 0.8% sequentially, and adult-use sales decreasing 4.3% year-over-year to $274.2 million, up 5.2% sequentially.

As supply continues to expand, flower pricing for adult-use has seen a dramatic decline. In July, the average price of $997 per pound, rose sequentially by 0.3% from a record low and declined 21.8% from a year ago:
Michigan cannabis sales expanded 82.1% in 2021 to $1.79 billion, 27.9% in 2022 to $2.29 billion and 33.3% to $3.06 billion in 2023. In 2024, they grew by 7.6% to $3.29 billion, and they are down 3.8% so far in 2025. The program should continue to expand ahead as supply becomes more available and as distribution expands.
